With not a lot of time nor interest left in Poiriers career, he should be trying to secure big paydays before he calls it quits and another McGregor fight would do just that. fighting a gathje again wouldn’t make sense because he already won and fighting an oliveria would be too small of a fight for somebody who just beat McGregor. For McGregor, nobody wants to see him step down and face an easier challenge. McGregor has always been considered as an elite competitor and the only way to revive that status to is to get redemption over poirier or Khabib.
